Last week, I shared a reflection on my first year in the counseling program. Today, I would like to highlight my favorite blog posts. Even though this blog’s main purpose is to document my insights and reflections as I become a licensed therapist, I began blogging a few months before starting the program to find my rhythm.

Here are my favorite blog posts from the past year:
1. Reflections on a Transformative Week: My First Residency Experience: This post is my favorite because it was challenging to write. Capturing the essence of a week full of activities, surprises, camaraderie, overcoming fears, and discovering hidden strengths in just a few paragraphs was not easy.
2. My Time as a Dean: I wrote this post right after submitting my resignation letter from my position as Dean of a school of education. The months leading up to that decision were filled with internal debate. Finally turning in that letter brought immense relief and allowed me to reflect on my academic career, from assistant professor to dean.
3. Rediscovering My Inner Sanctuary: Reflections on My Time in Brazil: This post is dear to me because it reveals my vulnerability. My professional life had overshadowed other aspects of my life, causing me to lose sight of what truly mattered. My time in Brazil provided a chance to reconnect with the people and places that shaped me.
If you follow this blog, I would love to know which post is your favorite.
