My preparation strategy is based on what I learned while studying for the National Counselor Examination. I do better when studying is part of my daily routine, allowing me to become familiar with the material over time instead of having to negotiate with myself each day.

The Ethics of Attention
A person incapable of sustained attention cannot truly encounter another person. To them, the afflicted become abstractions. The poor become statistics. The refugee becomes a political argument. The dead schoolchildren become one image among countless others, possessing no greater claim upon us than entertainment.
